I SUPPORT THE SECOND AMENDMENT
The Second Amendment, like the First Amendment, must always remain intact and defended. Without these first 2 amendments and the rights they guarantee, we cannot protect the other rights granted us in the Constitution.
The Second Amendment is not simply about the right to hunt or protect your life and property (although these are legitimate reasons to support the Right to Bear Arms - I’m an avid hunting and fishing enthusiast), it was written into the Constitution to assure that “we the people” had a way to defend our rights and liberty from threats of despotism both at home and from abroad.
I will be a staunch defender in Congress of ALL of our Constitutionally granted rights.
